On Thursday, we celebrated Stephen Lawrence day. We took part in an assembly and learnt about Stephen’s life. In class we talked about the things that Stephen liked to do and the things that we are good at and enjoy. We created talent trees to show the things that we are good at and talked about how it’s brilliant that we all like different things.
We also decorated some rocks around the theme of friendship- don’t they look fantastic!
For Earth day the children planted some pansy seeds in their own pot to look after, in order to learn about how we can restore our earth. This also links in with our science topic for this term in which we are learning all about plants.
The children are now watering their plants daily and hopefully we will begin to see some shoots soon. We will keep you updated!
In Dina Asher-Smith class we have had a very busy and interesting week!
We have been learning about capacity and measuring liquids. We had lots of fun in the water tray showing different capacities and estimating how many spoons of liquid it would take to fill a container!
We have also been learning about letters and have written to the Queen to tell her all about ourselves!
We wrote some interesting facts about ourselves and asked her some questions. We then wrote them up in our neatest writing, don’t they look brilliant!
We have also learnt about Easter celebrations, we hope that you like the Easter cards we have made!
Hello, we hope that you have all had a lovely Christmas break! Please find below a plan of the lessons that we will be delivering through home learning this week. I’m looking forward to seeing what the children get up to!
